During his professional journey of 20+ years of experience in different management fields, Mr. Awwad held different leading and managerial positions where he has gained extensive and hands-on experience in business development, project management, financial management, resources forecasting and client relationship management skills. Mr. Awwad ‘s academic background is in civil engineering and he holds an MBA from the University of Jordan as well as PMP Certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI-USA). Mr. Awwad’s portfolio includes industrial, public and commercial buildings, educational projects, hospitality projects, healthcare projects as well as infrastructure projects where his involvement was in both design and construction phases by managing design teams as well as site engineers to ensure time and cost control, payments, quality, progress reports and contractual alignment as well as client management and satisfaction.

In September 2020, Mr. Awwad was promoted and appointed as the CEO of AJ Group – HDP after being the Managing Director of AJ International and AJ Saudi; a promotion well-earned since Mr. Awwad has proven to be an expert in translating strategic business objectives and financial goals into activities to ensure achievement of financial targets as well as in directing and coordinating organization’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency. Moreover Mr. Awwad is meticulous in driving critical projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance operations and address immediate needs of internal and external clients. Additionally, Mr. Awwad is skilled in evaluating strategic options such as joint ventures, strategic alliances, acquisitions and Greenfield options, etc. Mr. Awwad is also known throughout his many leading positions which he held for motivating and leading a high-performance management team while attracting, recruiting and retaining required members of the executive team.
