Mr. Al Tahawi, a competent result-driven structural engineering professional with over 18 years’ experience in the UAE and the Middle East, mainly in areas of structural designing. Throughout the course of his career, he was successfully involved in the design and supervision of various types of projects for a number of reputed clients within the United Arab Emirate and the GCC. He has the ability to handle large-scale projects from concept design through design development and working drawings.

Demonstrated capability in computer skills using ETABS V9.70, SAFE 12.2 & SAP 2000 VER 14. Familiarity with structural design engineering tool- Dyanic Analysis (including vibration analysis, wind engineering & non-linear analysis. Proficiency in finite element analysis.

Domain knowledge of designed projects using British standard 6-codes & adept in specifications: ACI 318-08, AISC 360-05, ASCE7 2005, IBC2006–UBC97, NBCC 2005 (wind loads) & BS 8110.
